How cloning a TikTok works
You paste the link to a public TikTok. If the link doesn't work, save the video and upload the file instead. We break it into parts and write down what makes it tick.
For a typical product TikTok, that means:
- The hook. What is said or shown in the first two seconds, and what kind of hook it is: a question, a bold claim, a visual surprise.
- The pacing. How many cuts there are and how long each shot stays on screen.
- The shot types. Person to camera, product in hand, text card, close-up.
- The captions. Size, position, how words appear, whether key words are highlighted.
- The camera moves. Push-ins, pans, handheld movement.
We then write a new script for your products and generate new shots to match.
Pasting a link, and when to upload instead
We fetch a public TikTok link ourselves, once, for analysis, and then delete it. Private accounts can't be fetched, and a platform sometimes blocks us, so we can't promise every link works. When it doesn't, save the video and upload the file. Either way you confirm with a checkbox that you have the right to use it as a reference.
To get the file, use your own saved copy, or ask the creator for it. Do not use a download source that violates TikTok's terms.
What changes and what stays
| Stays the same | Changes |
|---|---|
| Hook type | Words, script and claims |
| Pacing and cut timing | Actor (a new AI actor) |
| Shot order | Product shots (made from your photos) |
| Caption style | Voice (a new AI voice) |
| Camera moves | Logo, colours and brand tone |
The original footage, audio, voice and faces are not used anywhere in your video. The video we fetched or you uploaded is deleted after analysis.
TikTok and AI labels
TikTok asks creators to label realistic AI-generated content. Every video from Clone Viral Videos carries an AI-generated label, and we remind you to switch on TikTok's AI-generated content setting when you post. Platform rules change, so check TikTok's current guidance before you publish.
Sizes
You get 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, plus 4:5 for feed posts and 1:1 for square placements.
A realistic expectation
Cloning copies a format that already worked for someone else. It does not copy their audience, their account history or their luck. Your video may do better or worse than the original. Test a few versions and see.
