Why not just re-post or re-shoot it?
Re-posting someone else's Reel is a copyright problem and a quick way to get reported. Re-shooting it shot for shot is slow, and you still need an actor, a location and an editor.
There is a middle path. The parts of a Reel that make it work are mostly structural. The parts that make it theirs are the footage, the face, the voice and the words. Copy the first group, replace the second, and you have something new.

- Find a Reel in your niche with strong results. Look for ones that other brands or creators keep imitating.
- Copy the link to a public Reel. Instagram sometimes blocks us; if it does, save the video and upload the file instead.

What your Reel will look like

Honest limits
A cloned Reel can do worse than the original. The original had its own account, audience and timing. We copy the format, and the format is only one piece of why a Reel works.
Formats that depend on a celebrity, a trending sound or a real customer story do not clone well. We do not use the original sound, and we do not create fake customers.
