The formats beauty businesses clone
Beauty reels lean on a handful of patterns. Browse the Beauty & hair templates and you will see them:
- "Things your stylist wishes you knew." A talking hook and three quick tips with text cards. Talking shots use Kling Avatar for lip-sync.
- "What to ask for at your appointment." Helpful, easy to film in your head, hard to film in real life between clients.
- Myth-busters. "Do you really need a trim every 6 weeks?" style questions, answered in your own words.
- The aftercare routine. Step by step, with each product your salon sells shown in its own shot.
- Booking nudges. "Holiday appointments are filling up" as an 8-second hook (half a credit).
Med spas and wellness studios will also find useful formats in Health & fitness templates. For opening lines, try our hook pages for salons, barbers, nail salons, med spas and makeup.
The rule for results: only real ones
Transformations are the most shared beauty reels. They are also where AI can mislead. Here is how we handle it:
- Results come from your own photos. A Service business profile lets you add up to 3 before photos and 3 after photos per service. The AI shots start from your real after photos, your space and your work, not from a blank prompt.
- Do not present an AI shot as a client's actual result. An AI shot is made by a video model, not a camera. If you want to show one client's real transformation, post the real photos.
- No medical or results promises. Our script checks block health claims, lines that promise comfort or safety, and promises of results in a set number of days. An AI actor is never presented as your medical staff or as a real client.
Med spas usually also follow state rules and their medical director's guidance on advertising. Check those before you post. This page is general information, not legal or medical advice.
How it works
- Create a Service business profile. Enter your website and we read your services page, or fill it in by hand. Add your logo and colors.
- Add photos per service. Your space, your tools, finished work you have permission to share, and the retail products you sell. Skip photos where a client's face is the point; the person on screen is always an AI actor.
- Pick a reel. Paste a public TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or X link, upload a file, or click Create this on a template. YouTube Shorts often need a file upload.
- Check the free preview. You see the storyboard, the new script and one frame. Edit any line.
- Make the reel. You get 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 versions with an AI-generated label.
What we will not clone
A reel built around a famous stylist, influencer or celebrity is remade with your AI actor: the famous person never appears, and we never make look-alikes. We never copy a real person's face or voice, and we do not make look-alikes. Children are out. Lip-syncs to a song are out too, since we never reuse the original audio. Add trending sound in the app when you post. See what videos can AI clone.
Barbershops
Barber reels are often fast cuts of clippers, fades and a final mirror shot. Very fast montages (more than about one cut a second) get some similar shots merged, and detailed hand work can need a redo. Each clone includes 2 free single-shot redos. Talking formats ("3 things to tell your barber") are the easiest to clone well.
What it costs
One credit makes one finished reel up to 15 seconds.
| Plan | Price per month | Credits | Brand profiles | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $39 | 5 | 1 | 1 |
| Growth | $99 | 14 | 3 | 2 |
| Scale | $249 | 36 | 10 | 5 |
A salon posting twice a week usually fits Growth. A group with several locations or brands may want Scale. Your first full clone is a $1 trial with no watermark, and the preview before it is free. Top-ups are $25 for 3 credits. See pricing.
