What you can ask your agent to do
Your AI assistant uses the same tools you see in the studio:
- Read a reel. Paste a TikTok, Instagram Reel, YouTube Short, Facebook Reel or X link. The agent gets the storyboard: the hook, the order of shots, the pacing and the caption style.
- Set up your brand. Give it your website and it builds a brand profile with your products, photos, colors and tone of voice.
- Write the script. It rewrites the reel for one of your products, with an AI actor you pick, at the length you want.
- Show you a preview. You see the new script and a preview picture before anything is paid for.
- Make the video. After you agree to the price, it makes the finished reel and hands you download links for 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1.
Everything up to the preview is free. Making the finished video uses credits, the same as on the website.
How to connect
The server URL is https://cloneviralvideos.com/api/mcp. Sign-in uses OAuth: your AI app opens our page, you sign in to your Clone Viral Videos account and click Allow. You never paste a password or a key into the AI app.
- Claude (web or desktop): Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste the URL and click Connect.
- Claude Code: run
claude mcp add --transport http cloneviralvideos https://cloneviralvideos.com/api/mcp, then type/mcpand choose Authenticate. - ChatGPT: add a custom MCP server from the Plugins page (on some accounts it's under Settings, Apps, Advanced, Developer mode), paste the URL and choose OAuth.
- Cursor: add the URL to
mcp.jsonundermcpServers, then sign in from Cursor's MCP settings. - Codex: add
[mcp_servers.cloneviralvideos]with the URL toconfig.toml, then runcodex mcp login cloneviralvideos.
Signed-in customers find copy-paste steps for each app under Agents in the studio. These apps change their menus often, so the exact labels may differ slightly.
You stay in control of spending
The Allow page has two separate permissions:
- See your brands and clones, and prepare clones. This covers reading links, writing scripts and showing free previews. It never spends credits.
- …and spend credits. This is a separate checkbox, and it's off unless you tick it.
Even with spending allowed, the agent has to get the exact price first and send that number back when it asks to make the video. If the price changed, we refuse the request and nothing is charged. A retried request is never charged twice. You can disconnect an agent at any time under Settings, Connected agents, and it is cut off at once.
The same rules as the website
Connecting an agent doesn't open a back door:
- You confirm you have the right to use every reference video, word for word, the same statement as on the upload page. The agent has to ask you.
- Reels we can't clone, such as ones built around a recognizable person, are refused before anything is charged.
- Scripts are checked for claims we can't verify and for wording copied from the original.
- The original footage, audio, voice and faces are never reused. Every finished video is labeled as AI-generated.
- There are no tools to delete clones or your account. Those stay in the studio.
Every action an agent takes is logged with the name of the app that took it.
Which plans include it
Connecting an AI agent comes with every paid plan (Starter, Growth and Scale) and the $1 trial. Free accounts see an "upgrade to connect" message on the Allow page. Scale plans also get API keys, which work as a Bearer token on the same URL for your own scripts. See pricing.
