What happens to the reel you paste or upload
You paste a public link (we fetch it once) or upload the file, and tick a box confirming you may use it as a reference. Our own server finds the cuts and times the speech. Then the video file is deleted, whether the analysis worked or not.
We keep the structure plan (hook type, shot timing, caption style, camera moves), a fingerprint of the file for takedowns, and one small frame per shot for your storyboard, deleted after 7 days. The reel's spoken words are used to check your new script doesn't copy them, then dropped.
What is sent to AI models
To label the shots, a text AI model reads the shot timings, the words spoken and one still frame per shot. The reference is never sent to an image, video or voice generation model, so it can't be copied into your video.
To make your video we send your product (or service) photos, the AI actor's image, the AI voice track, stills we generated and your new script. This runs through kie.ai, which routes the work to providers such as Google, Kuaishou (Kling), ElevenLabs and OpenAI. Files travel by unlisted links deleted after a few days, and providers delete them within 14 days.
On training: our terms let us process your content only to make your videos and run the service. We don't sell personal data or use advertising trackers on this site. The AI providers' own terms cover the files they receive.
AI labels, actors and claims
- Every clone has an "AI-generated" label burned in. It can't be switched off.
- Every presenter is one of 120 AI actors. None is a real person, and we never clone a voice.
- A reel built around a celebrity or creator is remade with your AI actor. The famous person never appears, and we never make look-alikes.
- An AI actor is never presented as a real customer. Scripts are checked for medical, weight-loss, income and "expert says" claims.
Honest AI ads
Many AI ad tools sell "AI UGC" that looks like a real customer reviewing a product. That can get an ad pulled and, in the US, it can break the law. Here is how we keep your ads on the right side of it.
- No fake testimonials. The FTC's rule on fake reviews and testimonials (16 CFR Part 465, in force since October 2024) bans testimonials that pretend to come from someone who doesn't exist or never used the product. So your AI actor presents the product, shows it and explains it. Scripts that say "I've used this for months" or "as a real customer" are flagged before anything is made.
- The label stays on. Every clone carries a burned-in "AI-generated" label. TikTok asks you to switch on its own AI-generated content label when you post realistic AI video, and Instagram and Facebook can add an "AI info" label too. Use them: it costs you nothing with viewers and keeps the account safe.
- Your real proof stays real. If you have real reviews, star ratings or before-and-after results, show them as text on screen with the source. Don't put them in an AI actor's mouth as if the actor said them.
- No surprise bills. You see the credit cost of a clone before you make it, and a failed clone gives its credits back. Plans renew monthly or yearly; cancel from your billing page in a couple of clicks and the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
Children and adult content
You must be 18 or older and using it for a business, brand or creator account. Reels built around children are refused at upload, as are nudity or sexual content, dance and song trends, movie or TV clips and real news events. A refused reel costs nothing.
Takedowns and the template library
If you think a video made with us uses your work or likeness, email hello@cloneviralvideos.com with your contact details, the work concerned and where the video appears. Our terms list what a formal notice needs. Every clone has an audit record, so we can find it, remove it and suspend repeat infringers.
The template library credits every reel to its creator and links to the original. Creators can email us to have theirs removed. Breakdowns made by the free viral reel analyzer have a "Remove this page" link.
Deleting your data
Delete any clone or brand profile at any time. To delete your whole account, open Settings, go to Delete your account and type your email to confirm. Your plan is canceled at once, and your brand profiles, clones, storyboards and video files are deleted. We keep only payment and refund records and the clone audit log (no media), which tax, card networks and takedowns require.
Account security
- No passwords: sign-in links work once and expire in 30 minutes.
- Google sign-in is optional and doesn't ask for your Gmail or Drive.
- AI apps such as ChatGPT or Claude connect only after you approve them. Spending credits is a separate permission, off unless you tick it. See ChatGPT and Claude.
